At Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, the ongoing pandemic is creating additional financial burdens on top of what has been tough year.

In February, plumbing breaks and the resulting flooding forced the closure of several units for repair.

Now, COVID-19 concerns have forced the cancellation of elective surgeries and procedures, as well as the purchase of additional gear. It all adds up to big loss. Cali O’Hare reports.
