MHCC gets women’s healthcare grant

Memorial Hospital in Rawlins has secured an $8,000 grant to help uninsured or under-insured women offset the costs of certain screenings and diagnostic mammograms.

It’s not the first time the hospital has received the funding. Cali O’Hare has the details.

 

 

USFS, Saratoga finalize water agreement

In Saratoga, the agreement to deliver water to the Forest Service compound south of town is a done deal.

The Carbon County Impact Joint Powers Board has finalized an agreement with the Brush Creek Hayden Ranger District for utility service. The approval did not pass without discussion about some of the wording. Emma Diercks has the story.

9/11 survivor to speak in Rawlins

The Rawlins Fire Department has arranged for a very special guest speaker. A New York City Firefighter who survived the terrorist attacks on the twin towers at the World Trade Center on September 11 will share his story of survival.

Cali O’Hare met with organizers to talk about what the public can expect.
