Street rehab project beginning in Rawlins

Phase two of a big street rehab project in Rawlins gets underway this week.

City crews will assist STC Construction resurface 100 blocks worth of municipal streets with an inch-thick overlay called wear course. Cali O’Hare has the details.

Residents express concerns over proposed ski area

In the Platte Valley, Brush Creek Ranch wants to create a private ski area for its elite guests.

While company representatives told the Town of Encampment the only downsides will be the ski slopes themselves, residents have concerns, including impacts to the watershed. Emma Diercks has the story.

Rawlins hospital hosting first golf tourney

Memorial Hospital of Carbon County has teamed up with the Rochelle Ranch Municipal Golf Course in order to host the First Annual Foundation Fun Scramble Golf Tournament, with the proceeds going to a great cause. Cali O’Hare has the story.
