MHCC pursuing Saratoga clinic

A big development Friday on the healthcare front in the Platte Valley: Memorial Hospital in Rawlins announced it is pursuing a plan to establish primary care facility in Saratoga. Emma Diercks reports that that the decision came during a board of trustees meeting last week.

Wyoming 2-1-1 briefs officials on database specifics

In Rawlins, city council last week heard from representatives of a statewide resource and referral agency known as Wyoming 2-1-1.

The group explained how it connects citizens with needed services. Cali O’Hare has the details.

 

 

School districts approve new budgets

Carbon County’s school districts passed budgets for their fiscal year. Carbon County School District One approved $31.8 million to its general fund while District Two appropriated $18.6 million. Emma Diercks reports.

A student group from Rawlins High School has again put the community on the map.
