Bull rider Dylan Grant of Laramie died at age 24 after suffering injuries Thursday night during the Wharton County Youth Fair Xtreme Bulls event in Wharton, Texas.
A story on the PRCA website states that the “PRCA would like to send its thoughts and prayers to bull rider Dylan Grant’s family, friends and the entire rodeo/bull riding community.”
On his biography, the PRCA lists Grant’s hometown as Laramie. Grant was a past Wyoming high school state bull riding champion.
Grant, a Wyoming native, won the bull riding title at the Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo while attending the University of Wyoming. He had been bull riding since 2018.
