The giant plume of smoke rising from the Medicine Bow National Forest on Tuesday told the story without words. The Mullen Fire grew in every sector.

As of Wednesday morning, the fire has now burned more than 96,757 acres in the Medicine Bow National Forest of southern Wyoming.

The Albany County Sheriff’s office reported Tuesday evening that 29 structures have been destroyed so far. Emma Diercks hast the latest.
