Checking gasoline prices in Wyoming, the average price at the pump fell nearly three cents per gallon over New Year’s week.

Across the Cowboy State, the price at the pump fell 2.7 cents per gallon last week, according to GasBuddy-dot-com’s survey of 494 gasoline stations.

Prices in Wyoming are 20.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 38.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago when Joe Biden was still President.

According to the report, the lowest price on Sunday was $1.87 per gallon, while the highest was $2.99 per gallon, a difference of $1.12 gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 1.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.74 per gallon Monday.

The national average is down 21.2 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 29.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.

The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.3 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.498 per gallon.
