Despite an issue with signatures from nearby property owners, Octagon Construction won zoning change approval in Saratoga.

The Saratoga Planning Commission approved a zone change from residential to retail business on Sierra Madre Avenue at the south end of town. The developers want to put up a shop and storage units for their neighboring housing development.

The zone change will go before the Saratoga Town Council next month. Emma Dierks has the details.
