The Platte Valley Clinic in Saratoga is providing free skin cancer screenings to the public during the month of February. The free screenings are being offered as part of National Cancer Prevention Month.

When abnormal tissue or cancer is found early, it may be easier to treat or cure.

Routine screenings for skin cancer should start at age 20 for both men and women, or earlier of any suspicious skin conditions arise. A skin cancer screening can be completed in about 15 minutes.

To schedule a free skin cancer screening or for more information about other cancer screenings, call the Platte Valley Clinic at (307) 326-3169.
