The Platte Valley Healthcare Project – the local nonprofit behind the development of a critical access hospital in Saratoga – took over ownership of the Saratoga Care Center on Monday.

While the new leases are in place, the building, owned by Utah-based Deseret, faces a foreclosure sale. Day-to-day operations at the nursing home will not change, officials say. Emma Dierks reports.
