Wyoming’s junior senator, Cynthia Lummis, is not planning on running for re-election for another year, but she has already won a major endorsement.

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday night and officially endorsed the senator’s reelection 2026 campaign.

Senator Lummis has not officially announced yet that she’s running for a second term, she expressed gratitude for the endorsement.

The President praised the Senator’s work as Chair of the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Digital Assets and her efforts to boost the economy and prioritize farmers, ranchers, and energy producers.

Lummis has reintroduced a Bitcoin bill, called the “Boosting Innovation, Technology and Competitiveness through Optimized Investment Nationwide Act.” The legislation is intended to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, aligning with President Trump’s recent executive order.

The bill aims to help “bolster America’s balance sheet” by creating a decentralized network of secure bitcoin vaults operated by the U.S. Treasury and a program to acquire 1 million BTC over a set period.

Lummis was one of three senators the president endorsed on Wednesday. Trump also endorsed Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Bill Haggerty of Tennessee.

Of Lummis, President Trump said, she “has my complete and total endorsement for re-election. She will never let you down.”

The President referred to Senator Lummis as an “America First Warrior.”
