In an update to a story Bigfoot 99 has been following, the Rawlins City Council has called a special meeting tonight to take action on Liquor License #99, which is currently owned by Andrea and Troy Shepard.

The governing body maintains that an attorney for the Shepards falsified 21 statements to the local licensing authority at the March 16th meeting in order to sway it to vote in favor of granting the license. The council previously requested the Shepards and their attorney reappear to answer to those allegations.

A public hearing will be held tonight prior to the council taking action. Staff is recommending the governing body move to suspend or revoke Sunnyside’s license, and/or impose a penalty. Cali O’Hare reports.
