National Public Works Week began Sunday and in Rawlins, Public Works Operations Manager Danielle Gross is recognizing the numerous divisions which make up the Rawlins Public Works Department.

Although COVID-19 has forced the municipality to scrap the usual festivities, city officials say they still want to celebrate the vital employees responsible for the streets, water, utilities, landfill, cemetery and other crucial infrastructure and municipal services. Cali O’Hare has more.
