Trouble at the transfer station in Rawlins: Damage to the metal building where all municipal solid waste from within city limits is collected has prompted both a budget amendment and the filing of an insurance claim. City officials don’t want to expend funds they don’t have to, but the building poses a safety risk and repairs must be made sooner rather than later. Cali O’Hare reports.
