The Rawlins governing body offered the interim city manager a permanent position.
After a closed‑door executive session at the end of Tuesday’s meeting, the Rawlins City Council voted to officially offer Interim City Manager Matt Hall the job. Councilman Steve Sanger made the motion.
Matthew J. Hall served two terms as mayor of Cody, Wyoming, from 2017 to 2024. Hall was selected as the interim city manager of Rawlins in October after former City Manager Tom Sarvey stepped away from the position due to a serious, ongoing medical condition.
At this time, the details of Hall’s employment offer haven’t been announced publicly. Additional information, including the terms of the contract and compensation, is expected to be discussed during the January 20th Rawlins City Council meeting.
