Micro-mobility. It’s a thing. And it could be coming to Rawlins with the help of city government. The City of Rawlins is considering implementing an e-scooter program which would allow citizens over the age of 16 to reserve, rent and utilize one of 50 scooters available to the public.

The municipality itself would not run the program, but lay the groundwork for entrepreneurs or businesses interested in managing the fleet.

A 2021 launch is no longer in the cards, but city officials are eyeing the possibility of bringing the e-scooters to Rawlins by summer 2022.
