The two Ford dealerships that submitted bids to the City of Rawlins for a 2022 pickup truck included disclosures that the prices would increase by $5,000 to $10,000 if an order was not placed before November 12th — three days after the bids were opened.

To avoid an increase in cost and an extended delivery time, the city manager took action, and later requested the council ratify the decision. Cali O’Hare reports.
