The Rawlins City Council has directed the Downtown Development Authority to explore alternative funding options, such as grants, for the purchase of an interior version of a well-known mural located in downtown Rawlins.

The city council does not believe Rawlins is in a position to pay the asking price. Cali O’Hare has the details.
