The front doors of the hospital in Rawlins are open for the first time since April. Memorial Hospital lifted the extended closure yesterday.

Patients and visitors can now walk through the front entrance of the facility, but the experience is a little different.

During the lengthy closure caused by COVID-19, upgraded camera equipment and automated temperature scanners are now in place. Cali O’Hare has more.

For the last four months, all patients have been required to enter the hospital through the single door at the ER. On Tuesday morning, MHCC re-opened its front doors, but people entering the hospital through the ER or the main entrance can still expect to be screened. Photo by Cali O’Hare/Bigfoot 99.
