The City of Rawlins has received a Chapter 2 permit from the Department of Environmental Quality, extending the life of the construction and demolition pit at the municipal landfill.

The 25-year extension means city officials will have more time to allocate funding and prepare plans for the creation of a new C&D disposal area. Cali O’Hare reports.
