In Rawlins, the solid waste transfer-station passed a recent surprise inspection conducted by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality. The landfill crew scored 100-percent on the surprise inspection, meaning the city is in compliance with all requirements set forth by the DEQ. Cali O’Hare spoke with local officials about the assessment and filed this report.
