A Rawlins resident is arranging a free spaghetti dinner as a way to repay the community for its generosity.

Next month, Carbon County School District One Maintenance Worker Barlow Curtis is hosting a free community dinner in the Jeffery Community Center in Rawlins. Curtis, who is not a professional chef, told Bigfoot99 that he will be serving an easy to make spaghetti dinner.

When he was in a difficult situation, Curtis said the people of Rawlins ensured that he and his family didn’t starve. The school maintenance worker said he chose to host the free dinner as a way to show his gratitude for the support.

Curtis said he is prepared to feed between 400 and 500 people.

Curtis’s free community spaghetti dinner will be held on Sunday, October 20th at the Jeffery Center from 1:00 until 4:00 pm or until all the food is gone.
