The place to be Friday morning was the Rawlins Middle School gymnasium, where students, faculty, and staff had a lot to celebrate at a special assembly.

First, the kids were presented with the Community Builder Award, which, as Bigfoot 99 reported, they won in January.

Then, the students and staff honored the C4 team for carrying the communities of Rawlins and Sinclair through the water crisis with an awards ceremony. The 2022 3A Boys Basketball Champs from Rawlins High School also made a special appearance. Cali O’Hare was there and filed this report.

Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare also received a kudos from Emergency Management Coordinator for Carbon County, Lenny Layman.
