In Rawlins, city officials are moving forward with a plan to sell vacant property that the municipality owns east of Airport Road.

The property was appraised in March and in April. The city then issued a request for sealed bids, with a minimum bid amount set at $59,000.

On Tuesday, the governing body voted to sell the property to the single interested bidder in the amount of $60,000. Cali O’Hare has more.
