In Rawlins, police are on the lookout for two suspects who burglarized a local motel.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, January 23rd, two masked individuals entered the Brickyard Inn, located at 415 West Spruce Street, and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Rawlins Police Chief Mike Ward told Bigfoot99 that the motel owners were unaware that they were victims of a crime until the following morning.

Brickyard Inn security cameras captured footage of two individuals entering the motel office wearing black coats and masks. Due to their obscured faces, identifying the suspects purely from the video evidence will be challenging.

Chief Ward is asking the public to contact the Rawlins Police Department with any information about the suspects.

With the incident still under investigation, Chief Ward was unable to disclose how the suspects gained entry to the motel office. However, the chief said that he is confident this incident was likely committed by someone in the area and unrelated to the robbery that occurred at the Stinker Store earlier this month.
