A sad story out of Rawlins this morning. The city’s top mechanic who oversaw the central shop has died after a short battle with an unspecified illness. Dino Sanchez worked for the City of Rawlins for close to 30 years.

During the funeral procession earlier this week, his coworkers from the Department of Public Works used the fleet of municipal vehicles to pay a special tribute to their friend and colleague. Cali O’Hare has more.
