The Rawlins Department of Public Works is requesting a combined $3.5 million in funding for capital improvement projects to be completed during the upcoming fiscal year.

Department heads from five divisions spent several hours last week explaining their various requests during a series of special budget workshops.

Cali O’Hare takes a look at the proposed projects and purchases meant to improve public infrastructure in Rawlins.
