Rawlins Middle Schoolers were treated to a special science lesson focused on empathy. The 20-minute lecture was taught entirely in Spanish, with students relying on context clues, body language, and other visuals to follow along with the lesson.

The collaborative approach between the middle school’s science teachers and English as a Second Language teacher significantly impacted native English speakers and learners. Cali O’Hare sat down with some of the students and has the story.
