A 59-year-old truck driver from Florida could face life in prison because of an alleged road rage incident on Interstate 80 near Rawlins a week ago on Thursday.

Carbon County Attorney Sarah Chavez Harkins charged Rabindranath Bunsee on Monday with one count of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault, one count of reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangerment, one count of property destruction, and an eighth count of using a radar detector.

According to court documents, Bunsee remains in custody in the Carbon County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

Police are sorting out three different stories, one of which includes the truck driver from Florida pointing a gun outside his truck window at a car with a child on board.
