It was a sight to see last fall – helicopters threading power cables through a needle on towers located near Interstate 80. The work was part of the Gateway West Transmission line project.

Now, Rocky Mountain Power is gearing up for a partnering line to be constructed about three hundred feet away. Emma Diercks has the story.
