In Saratoga, at a workshop to determine the real impacts on the town from the construction of the Gateway South Transmission Line construction, officials trimmed their request for state assistance from $1.9 million to $208,000.

Officials backed away from the $1.9 million amount, saying it was not supposed to be submitted to the county and was the result of miscommunication. Emma Diercks has the story.
