The Saratoga Police announced Wednesday that an arrest has been made related to an incident that occurred downtown last Halloween.

Interim Saratoga Police Chief John Moore released a statement saying that his department has completed an investigation into the incident that occurred outside of the Lazy River Cantina on the night of October 31st in the early morning hours of November 1st.

Bigfoot99 reached out to the Saratoga Police Department for more information about the incident. Chief Moore was not available for comment.

In his written statement, the interim police chief is likely referring to a fight that occurred on Halloween night that sent an elderly Saratoga resident to the hospital.

Saratoga Police are withholding the name of the suspect until after their initial court appearance and arraignment.

In the announcement, Chief Moore states that the unidentified victim was treated initially at the North Platte Valley Medical Center. Due to the severity of their injuries, the victim was airlifted to Colorado for further treatment.

The Saratoga Police Department thanked everyone who assisted with the investigation.
