A Saratoga police officer who was arrested this week on one felony charge and three misdemeanors has been suspended from duty. The charges stem from separate incidents involving a large breed dog Sgt. Justin Brown was training for law enforcement and person protection work. Cali O’Hare has the story.

Late Thursday night after this report was filed, Town Clerk Marie Christen released a statement regarding the situation. “The Town of Saratoga is aware of the incident involving Officer Brown and the Carbon County Sheriff’s Department,” the statement reads. “We are taking these allegations very seriously and Officer Brown has been suspended from the Saratoga Police Department pending further investigation and review.”
