Saratoga Elementary School students are transitioning from lockdowns and Zoom classrooms to an outdoor setting.
The local conservation district took a break this week from river restoration projects and ways to mitigate seasonal flooding to moving dirt and creating an outdoor classroom so students can learn about our natural world while in the sunshine.
District Director Joe Parsons said the classroom by the old football field off Elm Street next to the Hugus Ditch provides an ideal setting to learn about nature.
