A small herd of horses is forming in Rawlins. They won’t need hay. They’re made of scrap metal reclaimed from across Carbon County. Cali O’Hare has the story.
Pictured above: Metal mare sculpture, in process, which was created with pieces collected from all across Carbon County. She stands 15 hands high. The final piece will be installed in front of the Jeffrey Center in Rawlins within the next month. Her colt will join her in May. Photo courtesy of Pam Thayer/Rawlins DDA.
