Wyoming Senator John Barrasso paid tribute to Wyoming law enforcement officers yesterday during National Law Enforcement Week.
Barrasso recently co-sponsored the Back the Blue Act. The legislation would increase penalties for criminals who target law enforcement officers and provide new tools for officers to protect themselves.
In celebration of National Police Week, the Rawlins Police Department is inviting the public to participate in a memorial ceremony at their headquarters. Chief Ward said the event will take place this Thursday.
