The town of Sinclair is planning its own spooky Halloween event in the old Parco Theater.

On October 27th and 28th, and again on Halloween night, Sinclair is hosting a haunted house. Community Events Director Monte Thayer said decorating for the Haunted Carnival will begin next Monday. Thayer described the lore he created for the ghoulish circus-themed event.

Thayer said the haunted house will be held on three different nights: Friday, October 27th, Saturday, October 28th, and Tuesday, October 31st. The community events director explained what haunted house attendees can expect.

Thayer said the Halloween carnival will only occur on the evening of October 31st.

Thayer said the spooky circus-themed haunted house is appropriate for younger children. The community events director said the volunteer actors, called props, will tailor the experience to the age level of the participants.

Thayer said around half a dozen actors will perform in the haunted house. The community events director said residents and volunteers from High Country Behavioral Health and HF Sinclair will be stationed throughout the spooky circus to scare participants.

Thayer said around 10 additional volunteers will run the Halloween carnival, on October 31st. The community events director said he’ll have games to play and candy to hand out during the carnival. Thayer described some of the carnival games available on Halloween night.

Thayer said tickets earned during the Halloween carnival can be redeemed for small toys and trinkets.

The Sinclair community events director said while he has enough volunteers to run the Halloween event, he could always use more help setting up. Thayer said to call him if you can assist with decorating next week.

The Sinclair Haunted Circus is October 27th and 28th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The haunted house will be held again, with the Halloween carnival this time, on Tuesday, October 31st, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Call Sinclair Community Events Director Monte Thayer at 321-8694 for more information or to volunteer to help set up the event.
