Police confirm student brought loaded gun to Rawlins Elementary School

In an update to the story about a second-grader found with a handgun on the Rawlins Elementary School campus this week, police have confirmed the weapon was loaded. Cali O’Hare has the latest.

I-80 will get $20 million upgrades between Rawlins and Laramie

WYDOT received a $20 million federal grant for winter safety improvements on Interstate 80. In the spring of 2020, the agency will install two passing lanes and two parking areas between Rawlins and Laramie. Emma Diercks reports.

Rawlins hospital steering committee dissolves without decision on management

Following weeks of discussion and presentations, the steering committee exploring possible changes to the management of Memorial Hospital of Carbon County, dissolved in dissension Tuesday night. The nearly three hour long meeting was often contentious and emotional. Cali O’Hare was at the meeting and filed this report.
