Rawlins City Council approves urban deer management plan

In Rawlins, City Council reversed itself Tuesday and unanimously approved the urban deer management plan. Although residents expressed confusion about why the issue was back for consideration after failing to pass last month, council never publicly acknowledged why they broke procedure. Cali O’Hare has the update.

New medical clinic management discusses changes during public forum

At a public meeting in Saratoga last night, Health Management Services provided an update on changes at the Platte Valley Medical Clinic and the process of working toward what is being described as “sustainable healthcare.” Bigfoot 99’s Emma Diercks was there and filed this report.

 

 

New WGFD big game biologist working in Saratoga

A new big game biologist is on the job in Saratoga, although she is a familiar face to many. Former Rawlins Game Warden Teal Cufaude has replaced Will Schultz, who left for another position with Game and Fish in Cheyenne. Emma Diercks talked with Cufaude about her transition from law enforcement with the state wildlife agency to field studies.
