Saratoga finances approved but not without discussion

For the first time in two months, the Saratoga Town Council approved its bills without a vote against the action.

The unanimous decision was not reached without questions and discussion, though. Emma Diercks reports.

 

 

Rawlins proposes storm water utility legislation

The Wyoming Association of Municipalities reviewed more than 20 resolutions proposed by communities across the state, and has chosen to advance five of the draft bills to the Wyoming State Legislature in hopes that they will become law.

Among them is a proposal submitted by the City of Rawlins. Cali O’Hare reports.

Hanna transfer station approved

Carbon County Commissioners this week approved a plan to build a solid waste transfer station at the Hanna landfill. During Tuesday’s meeting, an engineer, provided details about how residents will use the facility. Emma Diercks reports.

Nonprofits encouraged to apply for grant funding

In Rawlins: the city council has yet to agree on a project to be completed with grants money from Wyoming Community Gas. So the governing body this week invited any local nonprofit to apply instead with an idea for a project of its own. Cali O’Hare has the details.

Sports: Lady Miner volleyball eyes strong finish for regular season
