Prosecutors seek jail time for female sex offender
A young female sex offender from Rawlins is facing legal troubles in both Carbon and Sweetwater Counties after violating the terms of her probation. Candace Cortez faces a jury trial in Sweetwater County next month on multiple charges.
Meanwhile, Carbon County prosecutors have filed a petition to revoke her probation altogether. Cali O’Hare has the story.
Saratoga addresses RV zoning
Almost one year ago, the Saratoga Town Council passed municipal code banning people from living in recreational vehicles in residential zones that are not considered RV parks.
Now the planning commission is tackling RVs and other vehicles parked on vacant properties. Emma Diercks reports.

The Saratoga water and sewer board are continuing to consider the best way to reallocate impact assistance funds from a proposed Saratoga Lake project.
