Local gas prices expected to rise

Oil and gasoline prices are on the rise in the U.S. after drones crippled two large oil producing fields in Saudi Arabia, knocking out 50 percent of the kingdom’s output.

With the Saudis facing a prolonged halt to production, prices have become volatile worldwide. Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare takes a look at what this means in Carbon County.

Hanna man arrested after meth-related shooting

A Hanna man was recently booked into jail after firing shots outside a neighbor’s home.

The shooting suspect was allegedly under the influence of methamphetamine and thought he was being attacked. Emma Diercks reports.

New cancer screening technology coming to Rawlins

Next week, the Memorial Hospital of Carbon County plans to unveil state-of-the-art imaging technology that will help diagnose breast cancer with greater accuracy than ever before.

The new machine – the first of its kind in Wyoming – arrived at the critical access hospital in Rawlins yesterday. Cali O’Hare has more.

Encampment seeking public input on water plan

The Town of Encampment is looking to update its source water protection plan to guard the quality of the North Fork Encampment River watershed.

The first step takes place this evening with a meeting to gather public input.
