Volunteers are needed to ring the bell for the Salvation Army in Rawlins now through Christmas Eve.

Last season, the Carbon County community raised $15,257, 90 percent of which stayed here, benefiting area residents. Carbon County not only broke local records with what was raised last year, it also raised the most money raised in the state, and within the Intermountain Division.

Cali O’Hare spoke with organizer Tink Day and filed this report.
