The City of Rawlins is asking for volunteers to participate in an annual community clean-up day.
Continuing a tradition that spans decades, this Wednesday, July 16th, the City of Rawlins will host an annual community clean-up day.
Rawlins Code Enforcement Officer Brian Markut explained the event focuses on beautifying the Interstate 80 ramp on the city’s east side. However, Markut said volunteers are not required to work in that location and may choose other areas around the city to clean.
Audio PlayerParticipants are asked to gather at the Rotary Park Pavillion, on the corner of North Higley Bouvard and East Cedar Street, at 4:00 p.m. The city will provide the volunteers with safety vests, work gloves, and quality trash bags.
