On the November 3rd General Election ballot, voters are being asked to either vote in favor or against a constitutional amendment updating the limits on the amount of debt a municipality can incur to maintain and improve local sewer systems.

The constitution currently limits the amount of debt a town can incur to fund sewer projects. Eliminating the cap would allow the legislature to raise the debt limit. Emma Diercks has more.
