Saratoga officials move forward with restructuring airport board

The Saratoga Town Council last night approved the second reading of two ordinances restructuring the airport board.

The action came despite a former board member proposing a workshop be held to learn more about the possible consequences of the change. As reported previously by Bigfoot 99, one ordinance dissolves the airport board while the other reforms it to an advisory role.

Splash pad committee holds first meeting in Rawlins

The Rawlins Downtown Development Authority’s Splash Pad Committee met this week for first time. Members looked over designs and discussed pricing.

Despite a slow start to fundraising, the committee set a goal of 2020 for installing the attraction in Depot Park. Cali O’Hare has the latest on creating a water park downtown.

Rawlins group hosts Easter egg fundraiser for Pet Partners

A group of Rawlins residents known as Rawlins Proud will host the community’s first “Egg My Yard” fundraiser.

The event will help busy families guarantee an exciting egg hunt for the kiddos on Easter morning, while raising funds for a good cause. Cali O’Hare has more.
