Rawlins street work ramps up

In Rawlins: Summer’s winding down but construction crews are cranking up street rehab projects in two parts of the city. Cali O’Hare has the details.

CCSD2 awarded accreditation

The Wyoming Board of Education has accredited Carbon County School District Two for the school year now underway. As part of the certification process, state officials will visit district classrooms. Emma Diercks has more.

Interactive tours highlight women outlaws in Rawlins

The Frontier Prison in Rawlins will put a twist on history when it showcases a different type of Wyoming female as part of the state’s 150th Anniversary of Women Suffrage.

Special interactive tours planned for this Saturday will bring visitors up close to the historic prison’s most notorious female inmates. Cali O’Hare has the details.

Riverside establishing referral boundary

The Town of Riverside is joining ranks with Saratoga and Encampment to establish a one-mile referral boundary around its municipal limits.

The County Planning and Development office plans to share a memorandum of understanding with the town next month. Emma Diercks reports.
