Eight arrested in raids

Last week’s police raids resulted in the arrest of eight people, seven from Rawlins and one from Hanna. They are facing a combined total of fifteen charges stemming from an ongoing drug investigation.

On Thursday, agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation with help from local law enforcement agencies conducted search and seizures at two addresses in Rawlins and on one vehicle.

The charging documents were filed in circuit court Monday afternoon. Cali O’Hare has the latest.

Rawlins hospital welcomes new CEO

Memorial Hospital of Carbon County welcomed a new CEO this week. Kenneth Harman started on Monday. On Tuesday, Bigfoot 99 sat down with Harman to discuss his goals for healthcare in the community. Emma Diercks reports.

MHCC launches DAISY Awards

Also at Memorial Hospital this week: Doctors, nurses and administrators listened to a special presentation Monday night about the launch of a new program that spotlights nurses who go the extra mile for their patients. Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare attended the kickoff event and filed this report.
