CCSD2 holds public meetings to discuss future of elementary schools

Carbon County School District Two held public meetings in Elk Mountain and Medicine Bow to start dialogue about the future of the elementary schools. Funding and enrollment could cause changes in the years to come. Emma Diercks has the story.

 

 

Warm winter gear distributed to Rawlins students tomorrow

Two companies doing business in Carbon County have once again teamed up to offer winter coats and warm socks to children at Rawlins Elementary School. Representatives will be on site tomorrow to distribute the items. Cali O’Hare has the details.

Carbon Count gets two new Highway Patrol troopers

Last Friday, 11 Highway Patrol Troopers were sworn-in before their family and friends at the State Capital as part of the Highway Patrol’s 95th graduating class. Two of those new troopers are tasked with patrolling the stretches of Interstate 80 and the highways that run through Carbon County. Cali O’Hare has more.

 

 

Rawlins man pleads guilty to drug possession

A Rawlins man pleaded guilty to felony possession of marijuana in Carbon County District Court Tuesday afternoon. The charge was brought forth when law enforcement searched his residence earlier this month for possible methamphetamine possession. Emma Diercks reports.
