Wyoming Game and Fish is looking to increase its Shirley Mountain elk herd objective by four hundred animals to reflect with what is currently seen on the ground.
This year’s mid-winter survey resulted in resulted in 1,700 elk counted on the landscape. Emma Diercks has the story.
